Financial Empowerment Moments

The way that we think about things of value matters. Understanding our relationship to money & resources is more important than the quantity that we claim as ours. The first point of understanding is 'ownership'.

"The earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof..." (Psalm 24:1).

"So then, what is our connection to God's possessions?

"What is man, that thou art mindful of him?...Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of they hands; thou hast put all things under his feet." : Psalm 8:4&6.

Our relationship to God's ownership is stewardship -- to manage the things over which we have been given dominion -- in a manner that is pleasing in His sight. That makes us God's resource managers.

B. Lifted Up's goal is to assist in refining, refocusing and reshaping the way that we think about money and things of value by relating everyday circumstances to Biblical truth. We hope that lives will be enriched by these messages.
